The exterior shots of P.T. Barnum’s mansion were located at Woodlea, the former home of Margaret Vanderbilt Shepard. It is now the Sleepy Hollow Country Club. The interior was shot at the Duke Mansion on Fifth Avenue in New York City. In real life, P.T. Barnum built 4 mansions.
