With the height of summer approaching, the weather is not the only thing that is hot. The real estate market for waterfront properties and equine properties is sizzling! A perusal of Town & Country magazine’s real estate section makes this evident.
Supermodel, Christie Brinkley’s historic Hamptons home, overlooking Sag Harbor, is for sale with a price tag of $20 million. Not only is the owner stunning, this property is too!
American Express is renting the restored Grey Gardens this summer for events. This East Hamptons home was made famous by its prior owners, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ aunt and cousin, “Big” Edie and “Little” Edie, and was featured in a documentary film, an HBO movie, and a Broadway musical. The property, currently owned by Washington Post writer, Sally Quinn, is overlooking the Atlantic and is currently listed for under $20 million.
Billionaire, Warren Buffet, listed his Laguna Beach home for $11 million, which he purchased 46 years ago for $150,000. Funnily enough, he had bought the home, not as an investment, but because his wife liked it! Husbands, always listen to your wives!
Supreme Court Justice, Neil Gorsuch, has a horse farm in Colorado for sale for $1.675 million. Located just outside of Boulder, it is described as a “horse lover’s paradise,” with 3 acres, a 3 stall barn, paddocks, and an orchard.
